How DoW SkillBridge Works

You don’t need to know anything about the DoW portal, training plans, or government compliance. That’s our job. Here’s exactly what happens after you contact us.

The Process

Four phases, start to finish

Phase 1 · Now – September 1

Sign & Setup

Once you select your package and sign the service agreement, we begin immediately. Training plans are drafted, your DoW MOU application is prepared, and candidate profiles are sourced — all before October 1. 50% of your setup fee is due at signing, with the remaining 50% due when your application is submitted.

Phase 2 · October 1

Submit

Your DoW application is submitted on Day 1 of the fall window. Companies who sign with us before September 1 go in first — while competitors who tried to do it themselves are still figuring out the portal. First in means fastest approval.

Phase 3 · 4–12 Weeks

DoW Approval

The Department of War reviews your application. During this waiting period you pay nothing additional. Option 2 monthly management fees begin only when DoW approves your program — never during the review period.

Phase 4 · After Approval

Placement

We source and present pre-screened candidates matched to your open roles. You interview and select. The intern starts, and we manage the full 180-day cycle including orientation, evaluations, and reporting.

Your Side

What your team actually has to do

Not much. Here’s the complete list.

  • Assign the intern meaningful, training-aligned daily work
  • Introduce them to your team on Day 1
  • Give feedback through your normal daily supervision
  • Complete two short evaluation forms (about 5 minutes each)
  • Email us when you decide to hire — to claim your $1,000 credit
  • Call or text any time a question comes up — we answer 7 days a week

That’s it. Everything else is our responsibility.

Evaluations

Mid-point (Day 90) and final (Day 180) evaluation forms delivered, completed with your supervisor, and submitted to DoW.
